Cathy is a happily married mother of two grown sons and has three beautiful grandchildren. (But she’s not biased…)
She a Bible-believing Christian. This is the foundation for everything she does.
Trained in computer science, Cathy graduated from Angelo State University in 1986. She worked as a programmer, educator, media coordinator & currently owns the digital marketing company – Alpine Ala Carte, LLC.
Cathy has always wanted to be a writer. When her sons were very young, she began researching her first novel. Through that research she corresponded with many World War II veterans, including several Marine Corps aviators that fought at the Battles of Midway and Guadalcanal. The time spent getting to know these men was an honor she will always treasure.
In fact, they changed her life.
Many of their personal stories are included in her novels because their sacrifices deserve to be remembered.
Although Cathy had to put her writing on the back burner while she raised her sons, she never gave up on the dream of being a published author.
